7 months!

Weight: 15 lbs (per our rough measurements) (11%)

Height: 26" (per our measurements but the Dr measured her at 26.5" last month so don't know what's right) (29%)

Hair: Light brown/dark blonde.

Eye Color: Light brown almost a copper color

Diapers: Size 2, need the Pampers Baby Dry at night
Clothes: 6 months

Sleeping: Sleeps on side or tummy. Sleeping through the night (most nights) Go to bed by 8:00pm, wake up or we wake you up around 5:00am/5:30am to eat before Mommy goes to work and typically just stay up & play before daycare. Have a couple 15-45mins and maybe one 1+ hour nap during the day, but still very inconsistent with daytime naps. Still use sound machine at night and during nap time at daycare.

Eating: Nurse in the morning when you get up, 4 oz bottles (4) times a day at daycare (Every ~ 2.5 hours during the day); nurse when we get home, solids for dinner, nurse before bed.
Foods: Avocado, broccoli, steamed sweet potato, cucumber, steamed carrots, Greek yogurt, cantaloupe, pineapple, red peppers, broccoli potato pancakes. 
Teeth: No teeth yet, though  you have started drooling more so we keep thinking soon

Developments: Doing great with the baby led weaning style with solids, reaching and rolling and reaching to toys, can definitely move around by rolling, babbling a lot more, can't sit still anymore-need a toy to play with, Loves to smile-especially open mouth smiles

7 month Memories:

Can't sit still anymore

* When I pick you up at daycare you get a huge smile when you see me and if I don't come over fast enough and pick you up you get mad.  Most days you get so excited and flap your arms and give me "kisses."  Mommy Loves it!
* You started giving "kisses"  You do this open mouth and lean towards our face thing, especially when Mommy picks you up at daycare. When you do it we say "Kisses for Mommy!" and sometime you will do it on command.
* You cry when you can't see us or when you see us walk away.  You do the big lip and everything. Sometime even if Daddy or Mommy is holding you and the other walks away after playing with you, you get upset. But when we come back you immediately stop crying, get a huge smile, and start waving your arms up and down.

* Your hand always moving trying to grab at something while nursing. You especially like to reach up and grab for my necklace.

* You have started to act differently towards strangers. Most of the time you just stare at them longer.  It sometimes takes you a while to warm up but then your adorable smiles comes out. Such the little charmer.

* You are still our little cat napper.  Daycare starts nap time you in your crib but if you wake up and are still tired they put you in the swing and you go back to sleep for a while.  At home we get 30 mins nap out of you. 

* You still fall asleep almost every time you are in the car

* You had a growth spurt this month and had 2 weeks where you would get up 1-2 times a night. Made for a tired Mommy!
* You are doing Great with solids!  Mommy and Daddy love watching you eat.  It is so much fun.
* If we put food on a spoon and leave it in the bowl you can (sometimes) pick it up and put it in your mouth, the correct way.
* You know that you get food when you are in your highchair and let us know if its taking too long to get it.
* You Love bath time!  You splash and kick in the tub and love to suck on your rubbery ducky! You get upset when bath time is over.  We have upgraded you to the rubbery ducky tub.
* We started sign language for "More," "Milk," and "All done"

Curious in everything!

* You have gotten really good at putting your nuk in your mouth yourself.  You will reach for it in your crib or in the car seat and put it in your mouth.
* You love to grab and pull on Mommy necklace and just putting it to the back doesn't work. You are too smart!
* Babbling a lot more this month
* Can't sit still anymore and always need to have a toy to play with
* Still don't laugh a whole lot but we get a lot of smiles and open mouth smiles!
* You still love to blow raspberries; you can entertain yourself with them for quite a while
* You love your 8:00pm bedtime and will let us know if we are late!

* You roll and reach and reach and roll to get to a toy that you want.  If there is something you want you will find a way to get it.
* Notices and are very curious and interested in everything even the little things like buttons on our shirt
* It is amazing how drawn you are to our cell phones.  They can be on the other side of the blanket from all your toys and that is what you go for.
* You have monkey feet; you hold on to things with your feet (we joke that you really have 4 hands) and you keep your toes curled almost all the time.  Sometime your feet turn purple b/c you are squeezing them so tight.
* You have a predicable pattern to discovering new things...grab it, inspect it, shake it, put it into your mouth.
* Starting to rock on your hands and butt a little bit.  We are betting you will be crawling by next month!  Not sure if we are excited about that! ;)
