Pretty low key week this week, which was nice. Braelyn did finally start to sleep better towards the end of the week and we even got a couple nights where she slept though the night again. Must have been going through a growth spurt.
On Friday night, Braelyn had her first babysitter and we went out on date night! I was a little nervous leaving her, especially since it was also the first time I wasn't the one to put her to sleep. But it was our neighbor Lisa (who has 4 great kids of her own) and her 13 yr old daughter that were babyistting so I figured between her 4 kids Lisa had seen it all and could handle getting a (almost) 7 month old to sleep. And of course Braelyn did great and went to sleep without any problems! Jason and I went out to dinner and then to a cocktail party for the Denver Nature & Science Museum YP Group that we are a part of. We had a great time and it was nice to let loose a little bit.
