The Becker Adventure: 44 weeks - More new tricks & a tooth!

Braelyn had quite the week learning some more "tricks" this week. And once she learns a new trick there is no going back, she doesn't forget. So we had to also do some more baby proofing this week as well!
She now waves bye-bye consistently and hi most of the time. She figured out how to open cabinets (and take most everything out of them). Gives kisses all the time. She finally got her 1st tooth on her 10 month birthday! Learned how to climb up stairs! And will interact on FaceTime!!

When we were FaceTiming both my family and Jason's family over the weekend, they would wave to Braelyn and she would wave back. If they asked her how big she was she would do "Sooo big." And she was reaching toward the screen trying to touch them. It is so awesome and amazing that she can now interact while we are FaceTiming our families. Gotta love technology!

Braelyn will be moving up to the Baby 2 classroom on Monday! Very bittersweet! Can't believe she is old enough to move to the next classroom already! And we will definitely miss her Baby 1 teachers! But it will be good for her to have older kids to watch and learn from. I think she was getting bored in Baby 1 now that she is mobile. Hopefully the transition goes well!

Bye Baby 1 teachers! We will miss you!!

Busy at our activity table

We have one wood step by our front door that Braelyn had not been able to figure out how to get up. While we were FaceTiming with Jason's parents she proved us wrong and went up it. And then if that wasn't enough, crawled over to the stairs and started to make her way up them without looking back. It was amazing she went from not being able to get up the one wood stair to climbing up a whole flight without blinking! She never fails to amaze me! Though after learning that new trick we were sure to put up the baby gate right after we got her down for a nap.
