10 months - Double Digits!!

Weight: 16 lbs 3 oz (per our measurement)
Height: 27" (per our measurement)
Hair: Blonde. Keeps getting blonder and longer - still longer on the sides than on the top
Diapers: Size 3
Clothes: 6 months and some 9 months but the 6 months clothes still fit the best (out little peanut)
Sleeping: Sleeps on side or tummy. Sleeping through the night. Go to bed between 7:30 & 8:00pm, we wake you up at 5:30am to eat before Mommy goes to work, on the weekends you will sleep in until 6:30am. Two 1-1.5 hour nap during the day (9:00/9:30am & 2:00pm). Pretty consistent with naps now but the morning nap is still more consistent than the afternoon. Use sound machine at night and during nap time at daycare. Still fall asleep anytime you are in the car.
Eating: Nurse in the morning when you get up, (3) 4oz bottles at daycare (3-3.5 hours), solids for breakfast, lunch, and snack at daycare, solids for dinner, nurse before bed
Foods: You have been an eating machine this month!  We aren't sure where you put it all since you are still a peanut.  It's nothing for you to eat a whole banana, eggs, and yogurt or 1/2 a piece of salmon, veggies, and 2 slices of watermelon at one meal!  You love foods with flavor as well -Mexican, curry, spaghetti sauce. The more flavor the better you like it. We still haven't found anything you don't like.
Teeth: 1!!  Bottom left one! It broke though today! Finally!
Developments: Standing to sitting, signs "more," drinking out of a sippy cup, rolling/pushing balls, Sit and listen to stories, understands "Can Mommy have that/Give that to Mommy," pull yourself to up to standing, "Sooo big," clapping, waving hello & bye-bye consistently, can see & interact with us in the car mirror

10 Month Memories:
* Can go from standing from sitting - at first you would go very slowly with lots of thought but after about a week you could do it no problem
* Have a memory. Can't just put something out of sight ,you will go find it
* You are an eating machine! You amaze Mommy and Daddy at how much you can eat but are very glad you are such a good eater!
* You no longer nurse when you get home from daycare.
* Love balls!  Will push/roll them to us or crawl after them.
* You can drink out of a sippy cup
* And can drink out of a glass while we are holding it without completely soaking yourself in the process
* You will hand over your toys or nuk when we ask for them
* Learned how to make the "Indian/Native American" noise.  You use the back of her hand and goes sideways instead of in and out.
* Before bed you will sit and listen to a story and will help turn the pages
* You love the piggy (sandpaper) in the Touch & Feel Farm book. You will flip to it every time!
* Went to Denver Museum of Nature & Science for the first time.  We had so much fun at the new discovery zone
* Went down the slide for the 1st time.  Wasn't quite sure what to think, you didn't hate it but you didn't like it either.  Still prefer the swing!
* You become more confident and participate more at each Music Together Class.  Your favorite instrument is the egg shakers
* You repeat sounds after us even when we change them up.  We can start with "Ah-Ah" and then switch to da-da and you will switch too.
* You can pull yourself up to standing!
* You are not interested in walking though.  You will just stand & not move or lift up your feet when we try to get you to walk.
* Went on your frist (non visiting extended family) family vacation and 4+ hour car ride.  You were Amazing in the car!  We had such an awesome vacation!
* Can do "Sooo big"
* You can now interact with us though the car mirror.
* Leaned to Clap! You will clap when we say "Yay" or when we ask you to "clap".  You are so proud of yourself, you always have a big smile when you are clapping.
* You will clap when you get close to Gibson bowls but don't touch them. It's the funniest thing.  Clearly we have been praising you the last month when you do that.
* Will wave hello and bye-bye consistently. Especially when anyone waves to you
Look at those wings!
* Now that you have a few tricks you can do on demand you are all about showing them off when we are around other people.  Such a ham!
You finally got your frist tooth on your 10 month birthday!  Hopefully the next couple will come a little faster or you will be getting your last tooth when you graduate highschool! :)
* You are still our happy, laid back, perfect little girl that is growing up too fast.  But we have loved every minute of it and love you so so much!
