37 Weeks - CRAWLING!!

Before we left for Florida Braelyn master sitting up on her own from laying down! She had done it a couple of times in her crib over the last few weeks but I think those times were more results of using the side of the crib for help.  But now she is a rolling-sitting up machine anywhere.  She will roll to a toy that she wants and then sit up to play with it. Which also meant it was time to lower her crib to the middle position.

Since we didn't getting back from Florida until after 11:30pm on Sunday we took Monday off as well to get settled, unpacked, and have a day with Baby Girl.
Mema and Gpa started their drive back to MN about 9:00am on Monday. We are very thankful they were able to watch Braelyn and are looking forward to seeing them again up at the lake in MN Labor Day Weekend. Though are going to miss them in the 2 months between - this will be the longest they go without seeing Braelyn!

Monday morning we hung out with Sweets until nap time and then unpacked and started laundry. Once she woke up we ran some errands and went to Michael's to get some picture frames for our bedroom. We haven't put up any of her 6 month pictures yet since I am not ready to replace her newborn ones and we don't have any pictures in our room. So I figured buying more picture frames is a win-win! :) Now I just have to decide which pictures I want where! Hopefully, I can decide and we can get them hung up soon.  At Michael's was also her first time riding in a cart. She didn't quite know what to think at first but I think in the end she thought it was pretty fun.

Since Jason & I left Braelyn and spent all weekend at the pool we thought it was only fair to get her her own pool.  And since it was so nice out Monday afternoon we of course had to try it out right away!  Braelyn LOVED it!  We put some of her fish bath toys in with her too.  She probably played in the pool for almost 40 mins!

Mema & Gpa said that Braelyn was getting so close to crawling over the weekend.  She would pick up one hand and knee but would fall to her tummy and do her army roll before lifting the other.  She must have just been waiting for Mommy and Daddy to get home cause on Monday night she started crawling!!  I was playing with her on the floor and she went for a toy about 2 hands and knees away.  So I called Jason over and we played the mean parent game of moving the toy farther away to see if she would crawl to it. She would most of the time as long as it didn't get too far away but she wasn't happy about it.  If the toy got anymore than about 2 hands and knees away she would start crying but continue to crawl to it.  We caught her crawling on video but she is crying the whole time so we will have to try it again another night so we don't look like mean parents when we watch the video later.  So exciting that our Baby Girl has started to crawl but man our world is about to change!!
