| Wearing one of Mommy's old outfits |
Height: 26.25" (per our measurements) (26%)
Hair: Light brown/dark blonde. Getting longer - has hockey player wings right now :)
Diapers: Size 2, need the Pampers Baby Dry at night
Clothes: 6 months
Clothes: 6 months
Sleeping: Sleeps on side or tummy. Sleeping through the night. Goes to bed by 8:00pm, we wake you up at 5:30am to eat before Mommy goes to work, on the weekends you will sleep in until 6:30am. Have a couple 15-45mins and maybe one 1+ hour nap during the day at daycare, at home will typically have a longer morning nap (1-2 hours) and a couple shorter afternoon naps, but still very inconsistent with the napping. Use sound machine at night and during nap time at daycare.
Eating: Nurse in the morning when you get up, 4oz bottles (4) times a day at daycare (Every 2.5-3 hours), solids for breakfast, lunch, and snack at daycare, nurse when we get home, solids for dinner, nurse before bed.
New Foods: You have been trying all sorts of new food this month. We pretty much give you anything we are eating that is soft enough for you. I am making all of your food right now. We haven't found anything you don't like yet. Here are a few of the new foods this month that I can remember: Quinoa broccoli bites (loves), Mexican rice skillet, bananas, yellow curry, oatmeal, green beans, banana oat muffins, spinach pancakes, and Meatloaf!
Teeth: Still No teeth yet, though you have been drooling more so we keep thinking soon. Though we have said that for a month or so now so who knows :)

Developments: Doing great with solids, hold your own bottle, rolling everywhere, babbling a lot more, lots more giggles, can hold yourself standing up, know Mommy & Daddy, can wave "bye-bye"
8 Month Memories:
* 1st trip to MN and 1st plane flight with just Mommy
* You now have been to 6 states and 4 round trip plane flights. Such a traveler for only being 8 months!
* You met Great Grandpa Lindseth. You have now met all of your Great Grandparents.
* You LOVE the Itsty bisty spider. You get all excited and get a huge smile on your face. You can be fussy and then completely forget that you are upset once we start singing it.
* Still love to blow raspberries
* You definietly know who Mommy and Daddy are. You get all excited when you see us.
* You can wave "bye-bye"
* You are very talkive. "da-da-da" and "ma-ma-ma" are your main sounds.
* You will repeat after us when we say "da-da-da" or blow raspberries
* When you are eating we smack our lips and say "yummmy" You now smack your lips back.
* You have started to let that cute little giggle out much more this month. We gets lots of giggles at dinner and when we are getting ready for bed.
* You can hold your own bottle. Mommy saw you doing it at daycare and you looked so big - slowly accepting that you aren't a little infant anymore!
* Started solids at daycare. At first they didn't know what to do with the big chunks of food but you showed them that you knew just what to do.
* You now do solids for breakfast, lunch, and snack at daycare and dinner at home.
* You think it is so funny to feed Gibson. You will drop food for him and lean over your high chair to watch it fall and Gibson eat it. But you get upset if Gibson take the food out of your hand. You need to be the one in control and give it to him.
* When you drop your food on the floor we tell you to "keep your food on your tray" sometime you listen but most of the time you just smile and laugh at us.
* You continue to get better and better with solids and are actually eating quite a bit - your diapers show it (though you must be processing a lot of it bc you just have little turd poops).
* We give you a few pieces of food at a time. If we give you too much at once you get over whelmed and start throwing it on the floor.
* You will sit in your highchair and eat dinner for about 45 mins
* You had meat for the first time (Daddy was excited). We made you mini turkey meatloaf. You of course loved them.
* We are doing sign language for "milk," "more," and "all done," right now. You definitely know the meaning of them, haven't started signing back yet though.
* You aren't crawling yet but reach and rock & roll around everywhere. You will sit and reach for something and rock on your hands and butt but then lay down on your tummy and do this crazy army roll thing to get to what you wants. You reach and stretch then rolls/throw yourself to one side, and then reach and stretch with the other arm and rolls the other direction.
* You can hold herself up when standing & leaning against something. You aren't pulling yourself up at all but will hang out if we set you up.
* You don't always like to stand though. If we try to have you stand you pick up your feet like a frog.
*You went to the Zoo for the first time. You loved the giraffes, elephants, flamingos, and fish.
* You LOVE bath time! We moved you into the blowup rubber ducky bath tub and you sit there and splash and play with your rubber duckies. You get upset when it is time to get out.
* You like to "drink" out of your sippy cup. I am not sure how much water you actually drink but you hold it the right way and your shirt gets wet so I know you are getting something.
* You are starting to figure things out and learning cause and effect. In your excersaucer you will hit the blue lizard, watch it light up, and once it stops hit is again. You also tried to drink out of your sippy cup with your nuk in your mouth, you figured out you needed to take your nuk out to drink, and when you were done you put your nuk back in your mouth. Mommy loves seeing your little brain work.
* You find and grab for your nuk in your crib and put it back in your mouth.
* You had your first ear infection (and fever) and urgent care visit! Poor Sweets! But you were a trooper and were back to your old self in no time. You were not a fan of the "pink stuff" though.
* Had to go down in the basement for a tornado warning. It was Mommy and Daddy's frist time going in the basement as well.
* Mommy and Daddy packed up your swing, bouncer, rock n' play, play mat, and infant bath tub.
* You went to a class at The Little Gym. It was so much fun! You Love it!
* You are still our happy baby girl! We love you SO much!!
