21 Weeks!

How far along? 21 weeks

Baby is the size of a...Pomegranate

Total weight gain? 12 lbs

Symptoms? My back is starting to bother me more often, especially on the left side and I also get a paint in front on the left side middle of my rib cage for some reason.

Food cravings? Still enjoying sweets and fruit.

Missing anything? Not really

Sleeping? Good, pillow between my knees still helps but since my back is starting to bother me more thinking about getting one of those pregnancy pillows. 

Started to show? It keeps growing!

Maternity clothes? Starting to get enough options now where I don't have to do laundry every few days.

Feeling any movement? I'm not sure. There has been a few times where I thought maybe but I'm completely sure yet.

Emotions? Probably a little more emotional but seems to be back in check most of the time

Best moment this week? 20 week appointment, ordering our family room furiture, & Buying a Crib!!

Working out? Lots of walks & few jogs

We went and visited our one and only daycare option on Friday.  Overall it went pretty well. It is a smaller center and the teachers work (4) 10 hour days so we would have the same person there at drop off and pick up, which is super nice.  All of the teachers are certified and they don't have any high school or college kids that work there as a part time job.  All of the food is made by the center director and they try to do organic and local as much as possible. And it is very reasonably priced. We had a few concerns and would definitely like to check out a few other options (assuming we can find some other options) before making a final decision but if it came down to this place it wouldn't be too bad.

We got some big items accomplished this weekend!  We finished the baby registry (well all but the nursery still not 100% sure what we are doing in there), finally decided and ordered family room furniture (now have to wait 6-10 weeks for delivery) and bought a Crib, which we get to pick up today!! Now that we have the crib it is becoming really real and getting very exciting (not that it wasn't before, it is just even more now)! I can't wait to put the crib together and then we can really start planning the nursery.  Chances are I'll make Jason put it together with me tomorrow night after work. It's just too exciting to wait! :-)
Saturday evening we had an early birthday dinner celebration with our neighbors at one of our favorite restaurants, Carmines on Penn.  Great food, Great company, and a great way to kick off my birthday weekend celebration!   The rest of the weekend consisted of yard work, a few hikes and walks with Gibson, a BBQ at a friend's house, and ended with a awesome birthday dinner of artichokes, pasta, and garlic bread on our deck with Jason.

No question, baby bump is here & keeps growing!
