Braelyn's Baptism

Braelyn's baptism was today after the 10:15am mass. Kevin is Braelyn's Godfather and Krista is the Godmother. It was a very beautiful personalize service. The Deacon did a very nice job and Braelyn did great!!  She didn't cry at all and when the Deacon was talking, she was looking right at him and looked to be listening intently.  The baptismal gown (that Mema had made out of both of my Grandma's wedding dresses) fit Braelyn perfectly and looked So beautiful on. It was even more special, since my Grandma's weren't able to be there.

Of course we had to get all the picture combinations to document this special day!

After the baptism everyone came back to our house to celebrate.  It was so fun to have everyone together.  We had appetizers and then an early lasagna dinner with chocolate cake and yummy Happy Cakes cupcakes for dessert.  It all worked out great!

Everyone started "fighting" over who got to hold Braelyn and actually started setting a timer. ha-ha! It was a very special and fun day!  Braelyn is one very blessed girl to have such a great family that love her SO much!

Braelyn was a star all day but was exhausted by bed time! Though, she had to get in a few extra sleepy cuddles with Mema and Grandma before going up to bed!
