Sleeping: No more swaddle! Use sound machine at night and during nap time at daycare. A couple 30-45mins and one 1-2+ hour nap during the day, 5.5 hours at straight at night - go to bed by 8:00pm, up around 1:00am/2:00am to eat, wake up or we wake you up around 5:00a/5:30am to eat before Mommy goes to work, either stay up or go back to sleep until Daddy wakes you up at 6:30am to go daycare.
Eating: Every 2.5-3 hours during the day, 5.5 hours at night, 4 oz bottles (4) times a day at daycare, 10 mins on one side per feeding when nursing.
Developments: Blowing raspberries, sucking on toes, laugh/giggles, rolling over (back to tummy - left side only), Reaching for things off to the side, hold toys up & look at them, everything go straight into our mouth-very rarely miss, very observant, Sitting up, still super smiley!

5 month Memories:
* This month has been Huge for development for you! At least each week (if not more) you learn something new.  Mommy and Daddy are so proud of you!
* You now only have 1 clogged tear duct.  The right one cleared up on its own. We are hoping the left one will soon too.
* You started sitting in the highchair and watching us eat.  Still haven't shown any interested in food yet though.
* You blow raspberries and are very amused with yourself when you do it.  We think it pretty funny!
* You started sucking on your toes. If there isn't a toy around to put in your mouth you go for your toes - especially during diaper changes.
* You Laughed!  Only once time but it was long enough to get it on video! It is the best sound ever!
* You surprised Mommy at Moms group and rolled from your back to your tummy!!
* You can sit up on your own! (for a couple mins at a time)
* You are one happy smiley baby all the time! We are very lucky!
* Your smile melts my heart! It can brighten any room!
* You love to smile with your mouth wide open - its so cute!
* You had a beautiful baptism and fun party weekend with the whole family in town
* Most of the time you now pull off when you are finished eating and do much less comfort sucking-especially during daytime feedings
* Went to Red Rocks for the 1st time
* No more sleeping swaddled
* Sleeping much better toward the end of the month now that we got the sound machine
* You reaching for things off to the side and are determined to grab them.
* Laying on your back, after you grab a toy, you will hold it up and look at it and then put it into your mouth
* You very rarely miss when putting things into your mouth
* Love playing with toys. Anything that you can grab and hold on to and put into your mouth!
* You love to put everything in your mouth and chew on Sophie but don't seem to be teething yet.
* Got your 2nd and 3rd cold - one right after the other. :( But once again did great and wasn't overly affected by them. Even though you have had a cough for almost a month now!
* Had to go to the Dr on your 5 month birthday to get your cough checked out but he confirmed that you just got another cold on top of the one that you were just getting over. My poor little girl!
* Uncle Jay taught you to "scream" and you think it is the funniest thing!  You have become quite the little screamer. - Thanks Uncle Jay!
* Will follow me when I leave the room and get a huge smile when you see me again.
* You definitely know your Mommy! If someone else is holding you and you get fussy you will (most of the time) calm down right away for me. Makes Mommy feel good! :)
* It is amazing how aware and observant  you are - we can almost see your little mind working away and you are constantly learning and taking everything in.
* I continue to love you more and more each day and get SO proud of you with each new thing you do! I may be little bias but you are definitely the best baby around!
