40 weeks, 10 Months! - Eviction Notice has been served!

How far along? 40 weeks
Baby is the size of a...BABY :)
Total weight gain? 34 lbs
Symptoms? Tired. All. The. Time!
Contractions/Labor Signs? Definitely having Braxton Hicks more often and we think Baby B has dropped a bit (though it may just be wishful thinking) but that is it.  Unfortunately, Baby B seems to be nice and cozy.
Sleeping? Getting up once at night but otherwise sleeping soundly
Feeling any movement? Baby B still has been much more active after dinner until bedtime lately but still not much movement at night. Really hoping it stays that way when Baby B arrives...think we can be that lucky?!?
Best moment this week? Sleeping in and relaxing
This Week's To Do? 40 week Dr appt, Lots of walking, squatting, and relaxing while looking forward to Baby B's arrival.

We are trying to patiently wait for Baby B's arrival. Though with each day that passes it gets harder and harder to be patient.  I was having a hard time on Friday feeling that I wasn't doing enough and was letting everyone down that Baby hadn't come yet.  Jason kindly reminded me that we still had a few days before Baby B's due date, only 10% of babies are actually born on their due date, everyone was just so excited for us, and most importantly there is nothing that I can do Baby is going to come when Baby is ready. It was what I needed to be reminded of and made me feel better but doesn't make the waiting any easier!  Come on Baby B we are all ready and excited to meet you!!  I have been drinking the raspberry leaf tea, going on lots of walks, hanging out on the exercise ball, doing some squats, and the plan for dinner tonight is Mexican food.  Not holding my breath that any of these things will actually work but figure it doesn't hurt to try!

We had another low key relaxing weekend (hopefully the last one before Baby B).   We enjoyed sleeping in, went on some long walks with Gibson, went to the Golden Farmer's Market, ran some errands, took a few naps, and watched football.  We had our neighbors over for dinner on Saturday night.  It was great to catch up with them and a good distraction to keep our mind off the waiting game.  On Sunday we also had a surprise visitor - my childhood friend, Molly, and her husband, Zach, were in town for a wedding. They had some time to kill before heading to the airport so decided to stop by and see if we were home.  We haven't seen Molly since last Fall and even longer since we have seen Zach. It was fun to catch up with them and again a great distraction!

Since Baby B's due date was Sunday and there was no signs of labor we decided they may need a little convincing, so we wrote up an eviction notice and Baby B was served!  The 40 week lease is up, time to pack up, and move out.  Hopefully Baby B gets the message and we get to meet him/her soon!  We are anxiously waiting!

We have a doctor appointment scheduled for Wednesday if Baby doesn't come before. They will do a Non-Stress Test (NST) and ultrasound to make sure everything still looks good, especially with the fluids and placenta. Our doctor said that as long as everything looks good, they will let me go a week late before they start talking abuot induction. Hoping we don't have to get to that point but its all up to Baby B!
