I had my 30 week doctor's appointment this afternoon. Once again the appointment went very well. I met with Dr. Kelle Oberle. She was very nice and spent time answering all my questions. Jason unfortunately was not able to come to the appointment so hopefully we can schedule another appointment with Dr. Oberle so he can meet her in case she is our delivering doctor.
Measurements all looked good and Baby B's heart rate was in the 130s (Dr. Oberle didn't remember exactly what it was when I asked b/c we were talking while she was doing it). I asked if they recommend we have a birth plan and how the delivery schedule works for the doctors. She said that it would be good to have an birth plan but to be open to changes because you never know what will happen. The four delivering doctors rotate depending on the day, Dr. Oberle is Monday-Tuesday morning, another Dr is Tuesday morning-Wednesday morning, ect. and they switch off being on-call on the weekends. I also asked for recommendations on a pediatrician since we have started that search. Quick and easy appointment...just like they should be!
