Grandma & Grandpa Visits!

Grandma and Grandpa came to visit on Thursday!  They hadn't seen Braelyn since her baptism in March!! Braelyn was much more comfortable with them right away than we thought she would, which was good. I think that being at her own house and a comfortable environment helped.

Friday morning we went out to brunch and walked around downtown Littleton. Bob, Bev, and I went on the Stranahan's whiskey tour while Braelyn went with Daddy to take care of some work stuff (No one under 21, even 11 month olds, were allowed on the tour).  It was a pretty neat tour - though still not a whiskey fan.

Friday evening Jason and I went out for an early anniversary dinner at Ocean Prime while Grandma & Grandpa watched Braelyn.  Dinner was Amazing! It was very nice to have a relaxing evening with Jason.

Saturday morning Grandma went to Music Together with Braelyn and I.  We had a great time and Braelyn was loving the sticks and shakers as always.

After music class we packed up the car and headed up to Breckenridge for Oktoberfest. It was Super crowded but we had a really good time! Good food, Good beer, & good company! And the weather was perfect too!

Saturday evening we hung out at the condo and were all in bed pretty early.

Sunday morning after Braelyn's nap we headed back to Denver and went to the Chihuly exhibit at the Denver Botanic Gardens.  It was as incredible as it was the first time we saw it.

After the Botanic Gardens we stopped at Little Man Ice Cream.  Braelyn celebrated being 11 months old with some ice cream.  She sure does love her ice cream!

Then we went and picked up Gibson at the Zabacks (they watched him while we were in the mountains) before heading home.

Such a fun weekend!!  Even though we had Friday off it still went by Way too fast!!

 

 

Braelyn was one lucky girl and got to spend Monday and Tuesday with Grandma & Grandpa while Mommy and Daddy were at work.  They had lots of fun playtime and even went to the park.  Braelyn was so exhausted on Monday when I got home she feel asleep playing in my arms.

Though she did refuse to take a bottle all day on both Monday and Tuesday.  Jason even tried on Tuesday and she wouldn't take it from him either.  Will be interesting to see what happens at daycare tomorrow.

Tuesday afternoon Grandma and Grandpa had to go back to Chicago.  We had a great time with Grandma and Grandpa and wish we could see them more often.  But are looking forward to seeing them again in Chicago in October.
