11 Months!

Weight: 15 lbs 8 oz (per our measurement) which is down from last month so don't know whats going on with that.
Height: 27" (per our measurement)
Hair: Blonde. Getting longer and thicker but still longer on the sides than on the top
Diapers: Size 3
Clothes: 6 months and some 9 months but the 6 months clothes are getting to be on the small size, especially the pants are getting a little too short
Sleeping: Sleeps on side or tummy. Go to bed at 8:00pm, we wake you up at 5:30am to eat before Mommy goes to work, on the weekends you will sleep in until 6:30am. Two 1-1.5 hour nap during the day (9:00/9:30am & 2:00pm). Pretty consistent with naps now but definitely need two naps a day. Use sound machine at night and during nap time at daycare. Still fall asleep most of the time when you are in the car but like looking around too.
Eating: Nurse in the morning when you get up, (3) 4oz bottles at daycare (3-3.5 hours), solids for breakfast, lunch, and snack at daycare, solids for dinner, nurse before bed
Foods: You are still an eating machine! You love foods with flavor-Mexican, curry, spaghetti. The more flavor the better you like it. We still haven't found anything you don't like.
Teeth: 2! Bottom middle left & right one.  The bottom right one hasn't technically broke through but it is super close, it will in the next day or two. And your fingers are always in your mouth so maybe you are working on another one as well.
Developments: Climb stairs, open cabinets, gives kisses consistently, stands up in crib when you wake up, interacts on FaceTime, understands commands/directions, can use a spoon, drink out of a straw, walk along furniture & pushes activity table/stool around, takes things out and puts them back in, Dances, peek-a-boo

11 Month Memories:
* You now interact on FaceTime.  You will wave, try to give kisses, and reach out to try to touch them.  You also can follow requests from those on the other side. Your Grandparents love it!
* You give kisses and will do it on command.  The big open mouth slobbery ones too!  Mommy Loves them!!
* You Love your books!  They kept you entertained for quite a while on our road trip. And you turn the pages during your bedtime story.
* You love your baths. Bathtime is your and Daddy's thing. Daddy plays the Bert & Ernie rubber ducky song from Sesame Street everytime you are in the bath.  And he has the small rubber duckies slide down the bath rubber ducky head into the water. You laugh and splash, its pretty cute!
* You figured out how to climb stairs.  It took you a while to figure out how to get up the one wooden stair but after you figured that one out you crawled all the way upstairs.  Mommy and Daddy had to put up the gate immediately.
* You haven't learned how to go down the stairs yet though.
* You moved up to the Baby 2 classroom.  The transition was a little tough the first few days but after that you have done great!  We miss your the Baby 1 teachers though.
* You tried corn on the cob and though it was pretty fun to chew on the cob.
* You are pretty good with the spoon.  We hand it to you with food on it and you can get it into your mouth without misses too much.

*You Love being outside. If we leave the sliding door open you will sneak outside!
* You want to eat whatever we are eating...and directly off our plates.  You can have the same thing but if it doesn't come off our plate it isn't good enough.
* You smack your lips when you want to eat.
* No words yet - though do are not a quite one.  Lots of ah-ah-ah, da-da-da, & ma-ma-ma sounds
* You are obsessed with taking things out and then put them back in again.  You will do it over and over. You make sure everything is out before you start putting it back in again.
* You continue to understands more signs but still only signing "more" (and maybe sometimes all done).  "More" looks more like clapping than excited waving now - closer to the real sign.
* You understand quite a few commands and will follow directions..."No", "give it to Mommy," "close it," "put it in," "take it out," "up," "come here," "clap," "Wave bye-bye/hello," Dance," "shake it," "roll the ball"
* You stand up in the crib when you wake up and are ready to get out.

* You will hand over your nuk when we ask for it.
* You love to "walk" around while pushing your activity table or step stool.  And you walk along the furniture too.  But you haven't gotten brave enough to stand up on your own yet.
* Still only get your nuk when you are sleeping or in the car.  Sometimes if you are having a really tough time you can have it but you only until you clam down and then we ask for it and you give it up.
* We switched you into the big kid car seat in Daddy's car.  Mommy is still holding out for a little while longer.
* You stand on your tippy toes to try to see what is on the end tables and then reach for it.
* You were an absolutely amazing traveler for our 14 hour road trip to MN.  You are such a good car traveler!
* You went to the cabin for the 1st time.
* You went on your 1st boat ride!  The life jacket was a bit restricting but you looked so cute.  You slept most of the time on the boat, just like you do in the car!
* You ate Magic sausage for the 1st time. At first you weren't too sure but you went back for more.
* You had fun playing with Mommy's old toys
* You love to rock-rock-rock in Mommy's old rocking chair
* You have figured out how to drink out of straw.
* You especially love to drink Mommy or Daddy's water.
* You went to your 1st wedding.
* You love to Dance!  It's so cute!  You will hold on with at least one hand on the furniture and bounce/dance.
* You play peek-a-boo!  You haven't quite figured out how to cover your face and then to take your hands away though.  Sometime you cover your eyes but most of the time its your ear, or side of your face, or half an eye, but we know what you mean!  Too cute!
* You like to make noises with your tongue.
* You are starting to be quite the copy cat...or at least try to copy what we are doing
* You figure out how to open and close cabinets.  Lucky for Mommy and Daddy you haven't started taking everything out of them yet - except for the snack cupboard.
* Mommy is in denial that you are going to be ONE next month! Where did the last year go!?!

Love the sticks!
So fun!
