49 weeks - Nonstop Crawling & Climbing

Grandma and Grandpa flew back to Chicago on late afternoon on Tuesday.  Mommy still had some work to do so after we said goodbye Braelyn came to work with Mommy for a little bit.  We said hello to a few coworkers and then she slept in the Boba while I got some stuff done.  Then we went and met Daddy at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science for a Behind the Scenes Night!

Little Picnic at the park before the Museum event
Got to go into the fossil lab!  SO cool!

Learned about how they make bone casts

Braelyn took all of her bottles at daycare on Wednesday.  So that was good. Not sure why she wouldn't take them for Grandma & Grandpa.  She will do a sippy cup for water so we started to try to transition her to a sippy cup instead of the bottle.  So far she hasn't been too interested.  Daycare will offer her the sippy cup first and then put it a bottle if she doesn't drink it.  She will maybe have a couple sips sometime but not very often.  We will just keep trying, I guess.

Braeyln's 2nd tooth broke though on Tuesday (9/16)!

We had a quick photo shoot and order Braelyn's 1st birthday invites.  She really is So big (and so cute!)!

Braelyn's daycare has had a lot of turnover with teachers lately and the Baby 2 teacher that we really like who was very involved in planning fun sensory/discovery play activities for the kiddos got moved into the Wobbler room.  The two teachers that are in Baby 2 now are good assistant teachers and great at watching the kids but they don't do much more than that. The fun activities died after Jenn left. So we decided to start looking at new daycares.  We were always planning on moving her around 1.5-2 years since they don't have a very developed early childhood learning program so we are just going to move her a little sooner than originally planned.

Thursday was our 4 year anniversary!  We went out for for a nice breakfast together.  And then went and toured 2 daycares. We like them both but only one had guaranteed availability starting in Jan the other we would be put on a wait list. There were a few things about each of them that I wasn't a huge fan of. Though there is no place that is perfect and no matter where she goes there is going to be things I like and things I don't like. While I know the place Braelyn is at right now is the perfect place we do know what we are going to get but I think the new place will be a much better fit for her in the long run. It's all a bit stressful!  You want to make the best/perfect decision but that perfect place doesn't exist.

Thursday night we got invited to a Gala for work.  Get to get dressed up, free drinks & dinner....there are much worse ways to spend an anniversary! Especially since we were planning on just hanging out at home. Zabacks were nice enough to volunteer to watch Braelyn.  The Gala was at the Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum which was a really neat venue.  We go to check out old bomber jets and even got to sit in the cockpit of 2 of them.

Friday was Habitat for Humanity Volunteer Day at work.  We worked on installing trim and flashing around the windows.  It was fun day.  But truthfully I kinda suck at manual labor...I am a very good assistant though! ;-)

Friday night was Parent's Night Out at Daycare so Braelyn got to hang out with some of her friends and Jason and I went out to dinner for Matt's 40th birthday!  After working in the sun all day and then going out to dinner I was exhausted! Plus after 2 nights in a row without hanging out with our little Sweets I was glad it was the weekend!

After Music Together class on Saturday morning we went to the local bakery for some yummy pastries.  Brealyn Loved them!  She is so good about sitting still when eating.

Saturday afternoon we hit the mall to find some clothes for family picture and Braelyn's 1 year pictures and bought some decoration stuff for her 1st birthday party.  Mommy is still can't believe that we actually are planning a 1 year party already!
Shopping is exhausting!
Sunday we just hung around and got stuff done around the house.  Braelyn is crawling around and climbing up on everything.  She does not stay in one spot for very long at all these days! And she moves fast!
Sporting the 80 look this morning!
Daddy wasn't a fan though!

What a cutie!
She got in her car seat on her own.
Pretty proud of herself!

Watching football with Daddy!
