The Becker Adventure: 9 months! 3/4 through the 1st year already!?!

Weight: 15 lbs 14 oz (per 9 month Dr visit 7/24) (12%)

Height: 26.75" (per 9 month Dr visit 7/24) (14%)

Head circumference: 17.72" (per 9 month Dr visit 7/24) (78%)

Hair: Dark blonde. Longer on the sides than on the top - still has hockey player wings right now :)

Diapers: Size 3 (don't need the Pampers Baby Dry at night anymore)

Clothes: 6 months and some 9 months but the 6 months clothes fit the best

Sleeping: Sleeps on side or tummy. Sleeping through the night. Go to bed between 7:30 & 8:00pm, we wake you up at 5:30am to eat before Mommy goes to work, on the weekends you will sleep in until 6:30am. Two 1-1.5 hour nap during the day at daycare, starting to get more consistent with the napping. Morning naps is a bit more consistent than the afternoon but way more consistent this month. Use sound machine at night and during nap time at daycare. Still will fall asleep anytime you are in the car
Eating: Nurse in the morning when you get up, down to (3) 4oz bottles at daycare (3-3.5 hours), solids for breakfast, lunch, and snack at daycare, sometime nurse when we get home, solids for dinner, nurse before bed

New Foods: You are such a good eater! We haven't found anything that you don't like. But you have definitely have developed favorites this month. Favorites: All berries, salmon, scrambled eggs, Greek yogurt. Some new things you have had this month: blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, salmon, scrambled eggs, taco meat, spaghetti, lasagna, french toast, (chicken nuggets, sunbutter/jelly sandwiches, pizza @ daycare but we don't really count those since you haven't had them with us! ha-ha)

Teeth: Still No teeth yet, though you have had all the symptoms...random screaming episodes, fever, drool monster so we keep thinking soon. But who knows

Developments: Sitting up from laying on tummy, Standing up on own @ activiy table for long period of time (need help getting to standing), pulling yourself up to your knees, signs "more", less messy with solids, Crawling!, you crawl to Mommy when I pick you up at daycare

9 Month Memories:

* You can go from laying down to sitting up on your own - so we had to lower your crib (which Mommy doesn't like as much b/c its harder to give you kisses when you are sleeping)
* You Love standing and playing at your activity table. You will just stand and play for 15 mins on your own. (Haven't figured out how to get down on your own though so will start to fuss when you have had enough)
* You have cut out one bottle during daycare this month so are down to 3. And you only sometimes nurse when you get home from daycare.

Always on the move...

* You are much less messy and throw less on the floor when you eat now. Though Gibson isn't a fan of that.
* You are a great eater! We haven't found anything that you don't like yet. Though some days you are picker than others.
* You definitely have your favorite food. All berries & salmon you go crazy for..like you can't shovel the food fast enough into your mouth. There was week this month where I swear all you would eat is blueberries if we let you! :)
* You definitely understand the meaning of "milk, "more," & "all done" when we sign them to you.

* You sign "more"! It looks more like waving your hands back and forth like you are excited but we know what you mean.
* You still fall asleep anytime we are in the car
* You started crawling!! You were hesitant at first but after a couple of days of "practicing" at daycare you were crawling everywhere!
* When you are crawling to something "new" or something you probably shouldn't have you do a little squeal and breath heavy. Its so cute and a good warning for Mommy and Daddy to make sure we know where you are at!
* You crawl to me with a huge smile on your face when I pick you up at daycare!! Melts Mommy's heart!
* You are such a good listener!! If we tell you something you are crawling to is "yucky" or "That's Gibson's" You will sit up, look at us with a smile to see if we are serious, and if we say it again you turn and start crawling somewhere else. Such a good little girl! (wonder how long that will last?!)
* You laugh all the time! Everything is funny to you

* You Love Gibson. You get a huge smile when you see him and think it is so funny when he plays fetch
* You are our little fish! You love the water. We bought you your own kiddy pool for home. You could stay in there for an hour+ if we let you
* You went to Splash Water Park and had fun playing with the bubblers.
* We started going to Music Together class and you love it!
* Mommy and Daddy left you for the first time for 4 days and 3 nights when they went to Florida for Tice's wedding. Mema & Gpa watched you and you had a great time...and was of course spoiled!
* You love to play with the door stop. I swear you know where they all are in the house.
* You went to your 1st (and 2nd) Rockies game. You had so much fun!
* You have been teasing us with teething all month but still no teeth! You were pretty drooly, then had a few random screaming episodes where it sounded like you were in pain, then had a fever for a couple of days, turned into a drool monster but no teeth! We just keep waiting.
* You seriously are the happiest baby we have ever seen! We love you SO much!
