38 weeks - Teething--maybe?!?

We had quite a week this week!

Braelyn was more fussy than normal this week and only wanted Mommy.  At fist we thought it was b/c she realized that I had left her for 4 days but really think that it is b/c she is teething...or maybe teething, no sign of actual teeth yet but have had all the symptoms of teething this week except for the teeth!

Tuesday, when I picked up Braelyn from daycare they told me she had a low grade fever (100.4)which was on the edge of needing to be sent home (100.6) and had wanted to cuddle more than normal.  She was still quite warm when she went to bed, so we decided to just keep her home from daycare on Wednesday - 1.) so she could sleep in, in the morning and 2.) Because if we sent her on Wed and they had to send her home then she couldn't go back for 24 hrs which means no daycare on Thurs too.  If we kept her home Wed and her fever broke by Thurs she could go to daycare.  Gotta play the daycare game!

I have been home from daycare all with a fever!

Braelyn didn't wake up until 9:00am on Wednesday and took a long morning and afternoon nap, but besides that she was happy as always but did have a fever (~101) all day.  We were thinking we were going to have to stay home with her on Thursday too but she woke up about 6:30am, happy as can be, and her fever had broke (was in the high 99) so she was able to go to daycare.

By Friday her temperature was back to normal so we weren't quite sure what the fever was all about since she didn't have any other sick symptoms.  Friday night she woke up twice from a dead sleep screaming like we have never heard before - like she was in pain.  Once we finally got her calmed down we starting thinking that maybe it was teething, which would explained the random fever a couple days ago. Though she wasn't drooling at all, so maybe not.  Then Sunday on our way home she randomly screamed again and wouldn't calm down, finally we gave her teething tablets and they worked like a charm.  We joked b/c for the last couple months any time Braelyn was more fussy than normal or would drool even a little bit we were like "must be teething" but this time we think she really is.  At least I really hope so b/c otherwise I have no explanation for the heartbreaking screams this week.  Though still no actual teeth so who knows....

Braelyn will crawl (without crying - hehe) if an object she wants isn't too far away. Though she is still pretty hesitant about crawling.  She seems to prefer her army roll.
