On Tuesday when I picked Braelyn up from daycare, she crawled over to me with a huge smile!! It was super awesome!! :) It's amazing how much changed from Sunday to Tuesday - though I guess she was at daycare where she could just practice crawling all day long. When she starts going for something "new" or something she probably shouldn't be, gets this little excited squeal and starts breathing heavy as she crawls. It's Super cute! And a good warning for us to pay attention. Think she will continue her little squeal warning when she is teenager, like right before she sneaks out of the house she would let our a little squeal?!?...it sure would make life easier! ;-)

No teeth yet so who knows what the screaming episodes were last weekend. But very glad Braelyn is back to her happy smiley self this week....Though she has turned into a drooling monster so maybe the teeth are still coming, just very, very slowly...

I had Thursday off so Braelyn and I went to the zoo with Lindsey & Adelay. It was super hot out so we checked out all the indoor exhibits and sped through outdoor ones. The flamingos and fish were the biggest hits for the girls. After the zoo we went to Little Man for some ice cream. Braelyn and Addy shared a kids cup and LOVE it. They were both covered in ice cream by the end but it was so cute! Then we hit up the swings at the park before heading back to the house. It was such a fun day!!
(Though sadly I lost all of my pictures from the day! :( On Friday morning I went to send Lindsey the pictures and there was no picture on my phone. My SD card just died - no recovering anything on it. Luckily my phone has auto backup so all the pictures except from Thursday are on the cloud (wherever that is) so I didn't loose everything - Thank God!! But I am still super bummed that I lost the ones from our super fun day and frustrated that it happened. Grr!)

We have being doing sign language for "milk," "more," & "all done" since Braelyn started solids at 6 months. She has been understanding the meaning of the signs for a while but she started doing "more" this week!! It looks more like her hands moving back and forth like she is excited but she definitely does it when she wants "more." Proud Mommy moment!
The only "problem" is that she only signs "more" for berries. She was eating mixed veggies dinner and she started signing "more" so I gave her some more veggies and she started to get upset and kept signing "more." Then we gave her some blueberries and she stopped signing and was content again until the blueberries were gone and then started "more" again. May need to work on that one a bit! :) |

On Saturday we tried out a Music Together class. Braelyn LOVED it! She was a little hesitant at first but by the end she was babbling and shaking the instruments. She loved the sticks - didn't want to give them up. She also was intrigued by the "bigger" walking kids in the class. She would just stare at them as they danced around. It was such a fun class! Definitely signing up for the rest of the summer session. Looking forward to class next week!
On Sunday we went to the Twins/Rockies game with the Zabacks. It was a ton of fun! Braelyn was a superstar! And surprisngly, she stayed awake almost the entire game. Once again it was an awesome weekend! So lucky to have such an awesome family and awesome friends!!
