Eating 3.5 oz bottle every 2.5-3 hours during the day, nursing every 2-2.5 hours after work, 4-5 hours at night
Sleeping: A couple 20-30 min naps and one 1+ hour nap during the day and Braelyn has been consistently going 5 to 5-1/2 hours straight at night this week. Much better than the up every few hours she was doing last week.
Typical Daycare Day: Wakes up at 3:00/4:00am to eat, back to sleep until Jason wakes her at 6:30am to get ready for daycare, drop off at daycare at 7:00am, 4 bottles and 3-4 naps at daycare, Mommy picks up around 4:30pm, playtime at home, change into PJs and goes to sleep around 7:30/8pm, sleepy night feeding, story time and in bed for the night around 9:30pm.
Development: Grabs and holds on to things and puts them straight into her mouth if she can, still only rolling left side from tummy to back, rocks from her back to her side quite a bit-getting closer to rolling over from her back
It was my first full week at work. I didn't realize how much more tiring working 5 days would be than 3 days and it is much harder to get anything done at home after work. It is definitely going to be an adjustment to get use to.
Braelyn was still only at daycare 3 days this week since on Monday and Tuesday Mema watched Braelyn during the day. I'm not sure who had more fun Braelyn or Mema but they were both worn out when I got home. :)
When Braelyn went back to daycare on Wednesday she must have forgotten that she could sleep and her friends would still be there when she woke up b/c she didn't sleep for more than 15 mins at at time! Apparently she didn't want to miss out on anything. Though she feel asleep on the car ride home, slept until 6:30pm when I woke her up to eat, went right back to sleep, woke up at 9pm just long enough to eat again and then slept until 3:00am! Clearly she was tired!! Luckily Thursday she was back to her normal napping at daycare.
Everything and anything still goes directly into our mouth if we can get it there. She will grab the toys hanging down on the play mat with both hands and tries to pull them into her mouth but since they won't reach she gets upset she can't get them into her mouth. haha!
We have found that the white noise app on the phone is instant magic. It is amazing! If she is upset or fighting sleep we can turn on the white noise app and within seconds she calms down! And it is way better than getting light headed from shhhing.
Braelyn still has the clogged tear ducts and they seem to go in waves of getting worse and then not so bad. Daycare was wiping them out after every diaper change but lately her eyes were starting to get red and irritated so we asked that they only wipe them out if necessary and use a soft damp washcloth. That seems to be helping a little bit but they still get really gunky at times. Definitely going to talk to the Dr. about it at her 4 month appointment.
