16 Weeks!

Weight: 12 lbs (as of 1/29) - up 6oz from last week!!
Eating 3.5 oz bottle every 2.5-3 hours during the day, nursing every 2-2.5 hours after work, 4-5 hours at night
Sleeping: During the day still a couple 20-30 min naps and one 1+ hour nap but the 6+ hours straight at night didn't happen again this week.  She was up every few hours-though only needed to eat once or twice and the other times she would go back to sleep once she got her nuk (though we still were up). Must be experiencing the 3-4 month sleep regression! Hopefully it doesn't last too long - I was liking the 6+ hours!
Typical Daycare Day: Wakes up at 4:00am to eat, back to sleep until Jason wakes her at 6:30am to get ready for daycare, drop off at daycare at 7:00am, 4 bottles and 3-4 naps at daycare, Mommy picks up around 4:30pm, playtime at home, goes to sleep around 7:30/8pm, all go up around 9:00pm change into PJs, story time, night feeding, and in bed for the night by 9:30pm.
Typical Nondaycare Day: Same as before
Development: Grabs and holds on to things and puts them straight into her mouth if she can, this week she started smiling and then opening her mouth wide during her smile - it is pretty funny, fingers are still in her mouth pretty much all the time, found her feet - if her fingers aren't in her mouth they are grabbing at her feet, Rolling over from her tummy to her back-still left side only, has been rolling from her back to her side quite a bit-she will be turning over from her back in no time!

This was my last week of only working 3 days a week at work. :( I was very lucky that Mortenson let me take 12 weeks of maternity leave and then another month of part time - but it still went by too fast! I definitely enjoyed the extra time I got with Braelyn and it made the transition back to work easier. Though it is still going to be tough to go back to 5 days.  I'm going to miss going to Moms Group on Wednesdays and our weekly play dates with Lindsey/Addy & Steph/Sammy!! We are really going to miss not seeing them every week! Plus it was nice to be able to get some things done around the house so we could enjoy our weekends instead of just doing chores. It will definitely be a transition, but it is good for me to challenge myself at work and good for Braelyn to experience different things and meet new friends at daycare. And I'll just have to take at least a day off a month for Braelyn-Mommy play days! :)

Playing with our feet is fun!
