7 weeks!

Weight: 10 lbs-4 oz (as of 11/27) - lost 1.5oz
Eating: Eating every 2-2.5 hours during the day, 6 hours at night
Sleeping: 6 hours at a time at night most of the time, 1 hour naps during the day
Typical Day: Up at 8:00am for the day, awake for a couple hours in the morning, awake for a couple of hours in the afternoon and early evening, goes to sleep around 8:00pm, we all go up to bed around 10:00pm, up around 4:00am.
Development: Doing really well with tummy time, Making more cooing nosies, Found your hand and need it or the pacifier to go to sleep during the day, will randomly smile while awake but not looking at anyone, Slept though the night!

* When you are tired, you try to put your whole fist in your mouth but it doesn't fit and you get really mad...good thing the pacifier comes to the rescue!
* You have continued to fight sleep and like Lots of movement and shhing to calm you down to go to sleep.
* You also have started to give no warning when you are hungry. You can go from sitting and hanging out with us to full out mad feed me Now cry in less than 1 min.  So much for those hunger cues they taught us about! :)
* On Friday night (11/29) you went to bed at 11:00pm and didn't get up until 7:00am!  First full night sleep!  Mommy and Daddy definitely enjoyed it!

We decided back in May that my mom was going to be Mema and my dad would be Opa.  Well my Dad never really took to Opa and since Braelyn was born he has been calling himself anything but Opa.  So we decided that Opa wasn't working for him.  So after a Google search of alternate names for Grandpa (some of them were quite outrageous), we settled on G-pa. G-pa fits Dad much better than Opa.  So from this point forward its Mema and G-pa!

You lost weight (1.5 oz) this week which is not so good!  :-( The lactation consultant said that it may just be an off week or you had just ate right before we weighed you last week or something.  Plus, you have gained really well the couple weeks before, that you may just be slowing down for a week. Since you are eating about every 2 hours during the day and have enough dirty diapers, she said not to worry too much and to see what happens next week. Here is to hoping you do better next week.

We had such a fun Thanksgiving week! And had lots of play time and cuddle time with our visitors!  Mema, G-pa, and Auntie Krista all arrived on Tuesday (11/26).

Patiently waiting for G-pa and
Mema to get here
Found my hand!

Wednesday (11/27) Braelyn helped Auntie Krista work and in turn Krista gave her some dance lessons! :)

We have caught some awake smiles from you, but you aren't really looking any us when you do them.  Auntie Krista was able to get a picture of one though.  Hopefully, that means the real social smile is coming soon!

Showing off to Mema and Auntie Krista

Love!

Saturday (12/30) we went and got our Christmas tree and decorated the house for Christmas.  Everyone else went up to Breckenridge.

Braelyn has her own stocking
And of course it is the biggest!
Auntie Krista had to got back to Chicago bright and early this morning. We had so much fun with her when she was here.  We spent most of the day relaxing at home after our crazy day in the mountains yesterday.  I had my Dr appointment today and got the all clear from my doctor.  No more weight or working out restrictions!  Though, there goes my excuse! :-/
