Weight: 9 lbs-13 oz (as of 11/13)
Eating: Eating every 2-2.5 hours during the day, 4 hours at night, 6-10 mins and one side a feeding, less cluster feeding at night
Sleeping: 3-4 hours at night
Typical Day: Up at 8:00am for the day, awake for a couple hours in the morning, awake for a couple of hours in the afternoon and early evening, tends to be more fussy early evening, goes to sleep around 8:00pm, we go up to bed around 10:00pm, up at around 2:30am, up at around 5:30am
Development: Tracking objects with eyes, doing really well with tummy time, losing hair on top of her head, making more nosies when she is awake, eyes are staying open during some feedings, has been snuggling more when on my shoulder, moved to size 1 diapers & in almost all 0-3 month clothes.
Braelyn's sleeping routine has changed a bit this week. She has been up more often during the day, especially in the afternoons (which has made her fussy in the early evenings), but is going to "bed" earlier at night. About 8:00pm she has been going to sleep and seems to be in more of a deep sleep. We have been going to bed around 10:00pm so she will wake up a bit when we change her and eats but then goes right back to sleep like she does in the middle of the night, as opposed to being up for a bit. Since she is going to "bed" around 8:00pm she seems to not cluster feed as much in the evenings. She is also now sleeping about 4 hours at night.
We were very busy this week as we had an activity every day.

Tuesday (11/12) morning I put Braelyn in her swing and turned the mobile on. She starting watching and following the monkeys on the mobile!! It was SO exciting! It is funny how excited we get with the little things but it was so cool to see her doing that. I was so proud of her! I took a video her doing it so we could show Jason (just got to figure out how to get it to work on here). Our baby girl is growing up! :) Tuesday afternoon we went to an essential oils for infant class with Lindsey and Adelay. It was very interesting how many things essential oils can be used for. Braelyn spent an hour with Daddy in the evening while I went to our condo HOA board meeting. Luckily for Jason, she slept the entire time.

Wednesday (11/13) we had fun at Moms group and Braelyn was up 7oz from last week! She is a growing machine! Wednesday night Jonathan came over to meet Braelyn. Unfortunately, Shadi wasn't feeling well so she couldn't come.

Thursday (11/14) we celebrated Braelyn's one month birthday by going to our first play group. It was also Gibson's 2nd birthday, so he got to go play with buddies at doggy daycare.

Friday (11/15) we went out to lunch with Ashley and Brody. Braelyn can still fit in her newborn clothes but they are definitely starting to get tighter so I have been trying to have her wear the cutest newborn clothes at least one more time before they get too small. On Friday I put her in her first pink outfit and could barely snap the oneies and the pants were more like capris than pants. But since it was nice out I decided that she should wear it one last time. It was the first thing that I put on her that was actually too small. :( As sad as it is that she is definitely growing out of her newborn clothes, she has so many cute 0-3 months clothes that it makes the fact that she is growing up easier. She also has had a few blow outs this week so we (and by we I mean Jason - Mommy is still in denial that Braelyn is big enough) decided to move her to size 1 diapers. They seem SO much bigger than the newborn diapers. Jason refuses to put her in a newborn diaper but since we have a few left I am going to use them up. :)

Saturday (11/16) Braelyn was decked out in her Marquette gear to watch the game. Sadly they lost, but she looked great! That afternoon we went over to the Geier's. Sophia (3 years old) held Braelyn. It was the first time she held a baby. She was So excited! It was so cute! We all went out to dinner at Old Chicago. On our way over Braelyn was super fussy so I fed her in the car for a while to see if that would help. I was all worried and apoligetic about delaying dinner because Braelyn was fussy but as we were finishing dinner Sophia started to get really upset and said she did not feel well so Shannon left to take her home. It was quite funny that our kid had problems in the beginning and theirs at the end...So it begins our new dinner norm! :)

On S
unday (11/17) we went to church for the first time with Braelyn. We sat in the cry room but she did great. She fussed for a bit in the beginning but Jason took her out of the car seat and held her and she slept the whole time. After church we made a Costco run and then hung Braelyn's name above her crib and pictures in her room. It is so fun to see her name and pictures on the wall now. Now all her room is missing is her sleeping in it at night. Soon enough! :) We got out the play mat and mirror this week too. She really seems to like them.

Today (11/18) we worked on tummy time and Braelyn did awesome! Mommy was so surprised and proud to see how high Braelyn could hold her head up. She will only do tummy time for short periods of time before getting upset and mornings she tolerates it better than afternoons/evenings. We are so proud at how strong our little girl is getting!!
