This was the first full week I was home during the day with Braelyn.  We both did really well. We got out of the house on alone to go to our first Mom's group and I even got to shower and dry my hair almost every morning! And of course got in lots of cuddle time!

Cuddle Time with Daddy!

Halloween night was Braelyn's first rough night.  She normally goes right back to sleep after eating but Halloween night she was up and not a happy camper from 11:00pm to almost 1:00am.  We think she was having a really hard time passing gas.  It was heartbreaking for Mommy and Daddy since there was nothing we could do for her.
Life is rough as a baby!

We had a busy day Friday (11/1)! I showered, did some laundry, had breakfast, pumped, baked oatmeal breakfast cookies, figured out how to use the Moby wrap, and Facetime with the Great Grandmas! I have been loving all the relaxing cuddle time but it felt pretty good to actually get somethings done during the day.
We went to Costco on Friday evening when Jason got home from work.  He had the cart and I had Braelyn in the stroller.  She had a bit of a melt down (again trying to get that toot out) halfway through.  I just continued shopping, moving a bit more quickly down each aisle, tried to stay calm and act like nothing was wrong.  She eventually stopped crying and I realized that if I stay calm, it is easier to not care about everyone else around. That and Costco is a big enough store that her crying didn't seem as loud.
Wide eyed!
The weekend was relaxing, mainly due to me not feeling well.  Kristin came over on Saturday (11/2) afternoon to meet Braelyn.  We had a nice visit but shortly after she left I started having really bad cramps.  I could barely walk to the kitchen counter for dinner and I spent the rest of Saturday relaxing on the couch.  Though by the time we went to bed I was feeling much better.  Sunday morning I got up and was feeling pretty good but shortly after I showered and got ready the cramps came back.  After I feed Braelyn, Jason took her to get the car washed and get coffee while I took a nap.  We spent most of the day relaxing on the couch.  I think that I must have done too much too soon and didn't eat or drink enough on Saturday and the cramping was my body's way of telling me to take it easy.  By late afternoon I was feeling much better so Jason, Braelyn, and I did a quick grocery run.  I put Braelyn in the Moby wrap and it worked really well, now if I could only get up enough courage to go to the grocery store alone.  Lindsay stopped by Sunday evening to meet Braelyn. It was great to see her and catch up.  We also got a sneak peek from our newborn session!  Can't wait to see the rest of them!

Today (11/4) we started working on tummy time today.  Braelyn already has a pretty strong neck so she did really well and tolerated it fairly well. Though we didn't spend too much time doing tummy time.  Baby steps!
