38 weeks

How far along? 38 weeks
Baby is the size of a...BABY :)
Total weight gain? 32 lbs
Symptoms? Still have mid & lower back pain seems to be less than it has been. And I am getting tired much quicker and more often...enjoying the lazy days.
Contractions? Definitely having more Braxton Hicks.
Food cravings? Still loving fruit but my cravings for sweets has lessen...won't turn them down but not really "craving" them either
Sleeping? Getting up once most nights. Thankful that I made it this long without having to get up and glad I only need to get up once.
Feeling any movement? A couple days last week Baby B wasn't moving as much, but seem to be back to their normal movements.
Swelling? Maybe a little more than normal (my rings sometime feel a little tighter) but not really.
Best moment this week? 3 year wedding anniversary, movie date night, Colorado baby shower
Working out? Yoga & pilates
This Week's To Do? 38 week Dr appt,  just relax and enjoy a full night's sleep until Baby B arrives.

We officially have everything on our To Do list done, so now are just waiting for Baby B's arrival! It is so weird and exciting not know when it will be.  We don't want to plan too much or go too far just in case but also don't want to just sit around and do nothing either.  I have been drinking my red raspberry leaf tea so we will see if that helps. Both Jason and I think I will go into labor 2 days before or 2 days after the due date so aren't 100% in the "it can happen anytime" mindset but now that everything is done and we are getting closer we are definitely starting to get there!

Last Wednesday we celebrated our 3 year anniversary!  Can't believe it has been 3 years already and how much has changed in the 3 years.  We had a meet the pediatrician visit over lunch and our 37 week dr appt in the afternoon so we were able to have the afternoon off from work. We relaxed at home and went out to a nice dinner at an Italian restaurant near the house that evening.  (we holding off for the real celebration dinner when I can have sushi and wine again). The last 3 years have been great and I can't wait to embark on our next big adventure together!

On Saturday night we went out and had movie date night. Figured it was going to be the last time we would go out to see a movie for a while.

Sunday afternoon, my friends Crystal and Kristin threw me a baby shower!  The food was very good and it was so great to catch up with some friends I haven't seen in a while!  They had everyone guess how big the belly was and also give their guesses on Baby B's arrival date, gender, weight, and length.  Most everyone guessed between Oct 5th - 9th and it was an exact even split between boy & girl. Can't wait to see if anyone guessed correctly.   It was such a fun afternoon and once again Baby B was showered with love and generosity!!  It is so fun that everyone is so excited for us.  We really do have the greatest friends and family!

Yummy Food!

Baby clothes are so cute!
