36 week Dr Appointment

Doctor appointment yesterday afternoon went well again.  We meet with Dr. Michael Johnson, the last of the delivering doctors.  He was alright, our least favorite of the four.  Though he was over 45 mins late, so I think he was rushing a bit to try to get back somewhat on schedule.  My weight, blood pressure, and measurements all look good.  Baby B's heart rate was in the 130s (a little lower than it has been).  He did the Strep B test and I will get the results back from that at my appointment next week.  I asked about the swelling after giving Gibson a walk and he said that as long as it goes down after a short time and my blood pressure is still ok then there is nothing to worry about. He confirmed that Baby B is head down but since he was able to push his hand on either side of the head there was no need to check dilation or effacement...no movement at this point.  He said they will check when I get closer to my due date or if I start having more regular contractions. I now start the weekly appointments.
