On Saturday Jason rode the Triple By Pass bike ride. A 120 mile, 3 mountain pass bike ride from Evergreen to Avon. The morning didn't start out well...when we got to the starting point Jason realized he had a flat tire. The spare tire that he had was the wrong size, so he tried to patch the tire but had no luck. Luckily, he was able to purchase one at one of the bike shop tents near the starting line. He decided to purchase 2 just in case. It was a good thing he did because a little over halfway on the ride he got another flat tire. Then a few blocks from the finish line he got yet another flat! Luckily, there was enough air in the tire that he was able to ride his bike across the finish line since he didn't have any more spare tires left. He did such an awesome job and Gibson and I were at the finish line cheering for him! Even with the flat tires and a 15 min take-cover-break during a downpour, he still finished in less than 10 hours!! We are so proud of him! Way to go Jason!!
