Baby is the size of a...Papaya (not sure where we are going to find one of those to eat)
Total weight gain? 13.5 lbs
Symptoms? The pain on my left side middle of my rib cage is starting to get annoying and quite painful at times. My friend Shannon said she had the same pain when she was pregnant with Sophia so good thing is someone else had the same pain and its nothing to worry about, bad news I think I'm stuck with it until October. And I noticed my belly has a little longer hair on it than normal, kinda weirds me out...good thing its always covered and there will be no bikinis this summer!
Food cravings? Happy Cakes carrot cake cupcakes...however they only have them on Saturdays so we made a trip downtown for them this weekend! :)
Missing anything? Not really
Sleeping? Good. Borrowed a friend's pregnancy pillows for a couple of nights and slept really well, probably should invest in one of my own.
Started to show? No question about it
Maternity clothes? Starting to get enough options now where I don't have to do laundry every few days.
Feeling any movement? YES! Finally I have felt the same feeling often enough that I don't know what else it could be but Baby B! So the "bubbles" I felt before really were Baby B! Some days it is more often than others and it is still pretty slight but pretty exciting! :)
Emotions? Seems to be back in check most of the time
Best moment this week? My birthday of course! :) And finally feeling Baby B!
Working out? 5K and walks with Gibson
Last week was once again a busy but good one. I tried to go to prenatal yoga on Thursday night for the frist time but the day was incorrect in the booklet I had and they had changed to Mondays, So unfortunately I didn't get to go. Hoping to be able to make it soon but Mondays is also Boot Camp day and I would like to continue going to that as long as I can. We will have to see what happens.
Friday was the 5k Zoo Run. Scott ended up spending the night at our house so Saturday morning we all went downtown for brunch. Then Jason and I headed off to Sophia's 3rd birthday party. Shannon and Matt went all out and had face painting and a jumping castle!! The weather was great and it was fun to catch up with friends we hadn't seen in a while. We tried to pick up the crib on the way home but the box was just a little too big for Jason's car. Our wonderful neightbors helped us out and picked it up with their truck. I am very anxious to put it together, but we have busy nights this week so we will see when we get a chance to do it.
Sunday we went to a BBQ and Rockies game for Encore's 10th Anniversary Party. We had a great time but it was Hot out! We lucked out though and got seats in the shade for the game. The sun crept up in the 8th inning and it got hot! We definitely would not have lasted if we had to sit in the sun for the entire time! After the game we met up with Lindsay for dinner downtown. It had cooled off to a manageable temperature at that point so we were able to eat outside. They had the sidewalk chalk art festival going on this weekend as well, so after dinner we walked down and checked it out before heading home. It is amazing what people can do with sidewalk chalk! Once again we had a great weekend! Next weekend I am heading to Minnesota for my baby shower! Another good weekend to look forward too!
