Seeing "Anta"!

Braelyn is loving all the Christmas decorations! She truly is her Mom's kid. :)  Every night on the way to bed, she has to stop and look at "her Christmas tree" (the tinsel one) and most of the time blow on it; then she stops at the big Christmas tree, points and stares for a bit; then we turn on the Santa nightlight outside her room before going to bed. It's so cute!

Braelyn said her first word (besides Dada & all done), Santa "Anta"!  It's Too cute! She will crawl up the stairs saying "Anta, Anta" and gets really excited when we turn on "Anta."  I am amazed at how quickly she picked up on it.  We only have had Christmas decorations up for a week!?!

We went and saw "Anta" at the mall tonight after daycare.  Braelyn had fun walking around holding the shopping bag while we waited for the couple of people ahead of us. She is so proud of herself walking too.  It's funny! A couple weeks ago Braelyn was hardly walking now she is walking on her own holding a bag!?! Crazy how quickly kiddos pick up on things!

Little shopper in training

She is just TOO cute!

When it was Braelyn's turn to see Santa, she walked right up to him on her own and he picked her up and set him on his lap.  She checked him out and had this "I'm not sure what to think" look and we couldn't get a smile out of her (even with the jingle bells) but there were No tears!  We were pretty impressed! She did Great!

After we saw Santa we had to stop at Target for a few things.  Braelyn insistent on walking on her own most of the way to Target and around Target. Made for a much longer trip but she was so cute walking in her Christmas dress that we had to let her.  She also had to stop a few times to check out the Christmas lights/decorations in the storefronts.  Love it!
Mesmerized by the lights & the Christmas tree
Silly naked baby!

I decided to stop nursing Braelyn in the morning as of yesterday.  I was waking her up during the week before I left for work to nurse and then she would only nurse for 2 mins.  Didn't really make sense to wake her up for that.  She is still nursing before bed, but if she goes 2 mins that is a long time.  I have a feeling that will be ending soon as well.  But for now, as long as she still asks for it, I'm ok nursing her.  She also no longer uses the sound machine to sleep anymore.  Our little girl is growing up!

We also gave our notice at Cradle to Crayons today.  Can't believe she has less than 2 weeks left (which also means we go to MN for Christmas in less than 2 weeks - ahh I've got a lot to do before then) but also excited for her new experiences at the new place.
