Drinking Milk in a Sippy Cup?!?

Braelyn drank 2 (yes 2!) sippy cups of breast milk yesterday at daycare!  No bottles all day!  First time she actually drank more than a sip of milk out of a sippy cup and she drinks 2 full bottles worth!
And today at daycare she drank her 2 breast milk bottles in sippy cups AND another sippy cup of whole milk!  Way to go Braelyn!!

Now the real test will be if she will drink out of a sippy cup for us at home.  She has never taken a bottle from me and stopped taking one from Jason around her 1st birthday. So far she is not interested in drinking milk at home, bottle or sippy cup.

Last night Braelyn also decided she was done nursing before bed. She didn't ask for milk at all and instead just reached for her Nuk.  Tonight she did the same thing. So we are officially done nursing! Excited that we made it 14 months and Braelyn weaned on her own.  She still has plenty of frozen to last her hopefully through this flu season.

Big day for our little girl...drinking milk out of a sippy cup and stopped nursing all in the same day...growing up too fast!
