Braelyn Mommy Day & Real Shoes!

Today was Braelyn's Discovery Day at Primrose.  Primrose wants the kids to come for a couple hours (9:00am-11:00am) with a parent at least once before they start so they get a little more comfortable with everything before their first day.

Since we were going to meet new friends in the big kid room (toddler room) we had to dress like a big kid!  Time to break out the Real shoes!!

Braelyn did pretty well during the discovery day.  Her friend Jack came up to greet us right when we got there.  Braelyn sat at the table and chairs with the other kids and had snack. She did really well with that!  She sat nicely and listened during circle time and then played with some of the kiddos but didn't let me get too far away.  By the end she was definitely getting tired and ready for a nap and only wanted me.  But we had a good time and I think it will be a good fit for her.  Though still having sad feelings leaving Cradle to Crayons...the fear of the unknown!

 Braelyn was asleep before we left the parking lot of Primrose after discovery day.  Not having her morning nap and all that new stimulation wore her out!  The transition of only 1 nap is going to be intestesting...good thing they have to deal with it and not us. haha When we got home we had a quick lunch and then she was ready for a real nap.  

After her nap it was time for some Mommy Braelyn playtime before Dada got home. Braelyn was pretty proud of herself for emptying 2 full drawers.  Though to be fair she did help put some of it back "in."  

Braelyn did a little finger painting but was interested in it as long as I had hoped.  We were able to get a picture done for both Mommy and Daddy to bring to work though.  

I LOVE my days home with Braelyn!!  It is so nice to be able to just stop everything for a few hours and just focus on having fun with her.  Love her!!
