11 weeks

How far along? 11 weeks
Baby is the size of a...Lime, golf ball (won't be eating one of those!)
Total weight gain/loss? 3 lbs
Symptoms? Still nothing too much...my back has been bothering more but I don't know if that is pregnancy related or just b/c my back sucks and bothers me more often than not, also starting to feel a little more tired than normal, but that could be that we have had a lot going on lately and not getting to bed earlier enough. Also, I am needing to wear 2 sports bras to workout now but after the workout I need to change within an hour or it get VERY painful...I'll leave it at that.
What is making me queasy or sick? Brussels sprouts still don't sound great but I had them again on Tuesday in pasta and they weren't too bad.
Food cravings? Nothing really...probably enjoying sweet things more than I normally do but not over board.  Jason seems to have more food cravings than me...the latest one was Strawberry Ice Cream.  Sometime I wonder if it is him or me that is pregnant.
Missing anything? Earl Grey & Yorkshire Tea. Even though they say you can have caffeine in moderation, we agreed that I would not have any caffeine the 1st trimester and then after that I could have some occasionally.
Sleeping? Same as always
Started to show? Nothing that anyone else could really notice but starting to feel a little "fat"
Emotions? Nothing different
Best moment this week? Finding out more friends and family are pregnant.
Fears & excitements? It is starting to feel more real for some reason, which is fun.  I am getting really excited for our 12 week appointment next Wednesday and being able to tell our family next weekend.  Next week is going to be a BIG week.  And it is really going to be real!
To do List? Get everything ready to tell everyone next week.

A LOT of our friends and family are also pregnant.  Just this week we found out four, yes Four, of Jason's cousin are pregnant and two more of our friends...there is definitely something in the water!  Having friends, family, and coworkers all pregnant at the same time is going to be fun.  And once baby comes, we will never have to worry about bringing the baby around since everyone else will have one too!

I am getting very excited that we will be able to start telling people next weekend.  This hiding it stuff is getting hard to come up with continued excuses.  Jason and my sister Colie went up skiing last Sunday and I decided to stay home because "my back hurt."  This weekend my Dad is going to be up in Breckenridge and of course wants us all to go up there skiing with him.  I have to "work" on Saturday and still need to come up with a reason why I can't go up on Sunday, since there is no way I can go up to Breckenridge and not ski without everyone wondering what is up.
The not drinking thing has also been something we have gotten creative on.  I can only use the excuse "I have a headache" so many times so we stole an idea from my cousin Carrie which has worked great! We make sure we have a few beer bottles filled with apple juice in our beer fridge for me.  We just put on a different bottle cap on them so we can easily to tell which ones are mine. As long as the beer bottle is dark you can't tell and is fool proof as long as you don't share!

So excited for next week!
