Lylia's 1st mountain trip!

We headed up to Breckenridge Saturday morning for some snowshoeing. It was Lylia's 1st trip to the mountains! We wanted to wait until she was at least 3 months old to avoid altitude sickness. (one of the things we learned from our mistakes with Braelyn).  Lylia did great!

The weather was good, not too cold and cloudy so we didn't have to worry about sunburn. It was so nice to get outside in the fresh mountain air. Lylia slept the entire snowshoe trip and Braelyn did great.

After snowshoeing we went back to the condo for naps. Braelyn had a great nap but Lylia must have thought she napped enough while snowshoeing. :) We had fun playing and working on rolling over...she is close but still hasn't figured out how to get her arm out of the way. When Braelyn finally woke up for her nap we went on the gondola to peak 8. Braelyn thought it was super cool to be on the gondola and to see where people go skiing. (hopefully next year we can get her to try skiing).

After we got back to the condo G-pa had arrived. Braelyn had fun reading books with him. 

Sunday morning we packed up and heading home for Ivy's 1st birthday party. It was great trip to Breckenridge but not long enough. Hoping to get at least one more trip up there to snowshoe again before the season is over. 

Such a happy girl!!

Sadly our nanny, Sarah, called over the weekend and had a medical emergency so she had to quit!  :( So now that we are without a nanny it's back home for me until we can find a new nanny! Hopefully I can be back at work in about 2-3 weeks.

Looking forward to getting some more time with the girls but not for the circumstances.
